Part-Time Course Plan

The following are standard patterns of enrolment or pathways for candidates studying on a part-time basis. They take into account unit pre-requisite, co-requisite and timetabling requirements.

A six credit point unit is estimated to require a total workload of approximately 150 hours per unit (this means about 12 to 15 hours per week per unit).

Notes:
Students can complete one Core Foundation unit concurrently with one Listed Unit or students can choose to study one unit per trimester, but must begin with FNDN101. Any student enrolled in FNDN101 or FNDN102 who does not submit assignments that are due before the Census Date may be withdrawn from that unit at the course coordinator's discretion. If a student is withdrawn from FNDN101, they will also be withdrawn from any concurrently enrolled Listed Unit.

MTHS100 Introduction to Quantitative Skills provides the mathematical background necessary for undertaking the university level mathematics and statistics units required for any courses involving natural or social sciences or computing. It is recommended for students requiring this background.
