If candidates have completed a Minor - a further 72 credit points comprising 12 credit points of Core Units; a Major of 48-60 credit points; and Elective Units of 0-12 credit points. If candidates have completed a Major - a further 48 credit points comprising 12 credit points of Core Units; a Minor of 24 credit points; and Elective Units of 12 credit points. If candidates have completed an Extended Major - a further 24 credit points comprising 12 credit points of Core Units; and Elective Units of 12 credit points. Elective Units can be selected from any unit offered by the University subject to candidates meeting overall course requirements and prerequisite and timetabling requirements for individual units. |

Note for students contemplating studying Honours in Criminology: The entry requirements for the Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Criminology is a GPA of 5.0 (Credit) in all units completed in the Bachelor of Arts component. In addition, a candidate for Criminology honours in the Bachelor of Arts with Honours degree shall have passed 48 credit points in Criminology, including 18 credit points at Distinction level or better at 300-level from these units and includes CRIM344 (Criminological Perspectives). |
